Media/Publicity Kit for Grantees
The TopArts Grant program has been in existence since 2016 and is made possible with funds allocated by the City of Topeka. ArtsConnect is proud to have been chosen by the City of Topeka to administer the allocation of these funds.
To make things as easy as possible for current and past grantees, we have provided resources to help you acknowledge the support offered through the TopArts Grant Program and to offer tools to promote your programs and projects. Please review the information below and we hope it is helpful to you. We understand that all projects are different and have attempted to offer materials that are flexible and usable. A variety of logos are found here and can be used in accordance with the guidelines provided below. We are in the process of updating a “boilerplate” press release and other materials for promoting your programs and projects. It will be posted here as soon as it is available. If you ever need assistance with marketing or promoting your grant-related events and activities, please let us know.
TOPARTS GRANT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF SUPPORT
Acknowledgment of support from the TopArts Grant Program should acknowledge both ArtsConnect and the City of Topeka displayed in all materials and announcements related to grant-funded activities for the duration of the grant period for which funding was received. For 2026 grantees, the grant period is January 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027. For other grant years, you will find the dates for the grant period in your grantee agreement.
WRITTEN MATERIALS | Print & Online
For print and online project materials, we encourage grantees to use a combination of the ArtsConnect and City of Topeka logos, along with text. If it is not possible to include the logos, please acknowledge basic requirement is a phrase acknowledging support from the National Endowment for the Arts using the following language: "This project is supported in part by the TopArts Grant Program, administered by ArtsConnect and funded by the City of Topeka.”
You are encouraged to include the following language if possible: "To find out more about the TopArts Grant Program, visit www.artstopeka.org/toparts.”
In addition, we encourage you to use the ArtsConnect and City of Topeka logos whenever possible Those are provided for your convenience at www.artstopeka.org/toparts and can be found by scrolling

You may also use social media to acknowledge support from the TopArts Grant Program. You can find ArtsConnect @artstopeka on Instagram and the City of Topeka on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/cityoftopeka. Text can include a tag a sentence like: "This project is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts." Tags can be added to photos as appropriate.
