We Are The Keepers Mural Project

ArtsConnect in partnership with the Tonantzin Society and under the artistic leadership of Kansas Mural Roster artist, Mona Cliff, painted a mural along the banks of the Shunganunga Creek in Topeka, Kansas. This mural is focused on themes of environmental justice and waterway protection.

Blaisdell Pool

This mural is located inside the ground of Blaisdell Pool in Gage Park. The stark brick wall was originally painted with an arctic theme in 2018 by Luke Rocha & Patrick Rocha, Jr. Due to exposure and surface material, the wall was repainted in 2024 by Judith White and a team of artists. The current design pays homage to both the Gage Park Carousel and the Topeka Zoo, located near the pool.
